Melissa Swan - Maid of Honor
Melissa and I have been best friends since we were five years old. We became friends when my family got in a minor car crash while leaving church one Sunday. My sister Anna got a bloody nose from the crash so my parents took her to the hospital to make sure she was okay and while they did that I went to Melissa's house and played barbies. When my dad came to take me home I didn't want to go because I was having so much fun...also Melissa had a larger barbie collection than mine and this meant she was really cool back then. Throughout the years we have made several "Best Friend Contracts" to commit to be best friends until a certain age and then once we reached that age we would write a new contract. Now come to think of it, I think Melissa and I need to write up a new one.
Anna Kessie - Bridesmaid - Sister
Anna is the best older sister in the world and was/is an amazing example to me. We used to share a room and whenever she was listening to the radio and there was a bad word in a song, she would run over to the radio from where ever she was and turn down the volume so I wouldn't hear it. Now Anna has the cutest/most beautiful kids in the universe and I am seriously afraid that my future children won't be as cute as hers! Ahhhh.
Melanie Bliss - Bridesmaid - Sister
I have a burning love for Melanie. We have been sisters since she was born in 1990 and because we were the closest in age we got in the most fights...but at least they were usually hilarious. Once we got into a huge fight because I threw boiled chicken in her hair and she had just washed her hair so she got really mad(I don't really remember why I threw chicken in her hair in the first place though...) In her anger she hit me with a candlestick and it broke and then I got mad at her for breaking our mom's nice candlesticks. At some point in this fight we realized how funny it was and made up.
Sarah Bliss - Bridesmaid - Sister
Sarah is the youngest of all my sisters and I was sad to miss living with her as she went through middle school and high school. She just graduated from high school this last May 2012 but right after she graduated she came up to Utah to live with me for the summer while she went to summer school at BYU. It was the best. We had sleepovers every night(because we shared my room)and she helped me with wedding things all summer long!
Anna Reed - Bridesmaid
Anna and I have been great friends since we were five. I remember admiring Anna's long blonde hair in kindergarten and wanting to be her friend. We were choir nerds together from elementary school through high school and had many adventures while going on tour to San Francisco and taking several trips to Disneyland! Anna was also the keeper of the coins. In high school if we saw loose change on the ground we would always pick it up and give it to Anna. We had the intention of using the money to have a girls night out or something but we never did. Anna still has the money and it has added up quite a bit! Haha.
Melissa Fletcher - Bridesmaid
Melissa and I have been friends since hmmm... I think 4th grade? I was so excited when I met her because we lived on the same street and I thought that was the coolest thing in the world. As you can see from this picture, Melissa and I share a tremendous love for animals. I remember playing at her house as a child and playing with her very chubby and adorable kitty named Sarah.
Heather Morrison - Bridesmaid
Heather and I have also known each other since we were about five years old however we were never that close of friends until we got out of high school and were roommates at BYU Idaho for one semester and then moved to LA together after that. I have many fond memories of eating sushi with Heather because we both love it so much. Also, Heather and I have gone to Solvang at least three times together which has always been a fun time. I think we were trying to make it a yearly tradition or something.
Chelsea Kunz - Bridesmaid
I don't know how my life would be if I had never met Chelsea. We met in September of 2008 when we moved into the same house together(this house was home to nine girls). We became immediate friends when we found out that we both enjoyed going out dancing. Through our friendship, we have gotten ourselves into several funny situations. One of which was when we accidentally crashed a Bloody Mary themed wedding on Halloween because we thought it was a Halloween party...and that same night my hair caught on fire. If you want to hear the whole story...just ask me. Or better yet, ask Chelsea because she is really good at telling stories.
